A template for custom (image) tokens would be really cool. Like, you could have a human template where you could modify the hair color, the facial structure or expression, the clothes, perhaps even the pose, etc. This could be done with much less effort and much more flexibility than creating numerous variants, and would allow for custom tokens to be done with the same, consistent art style. That would be fantastic for both NPCs and PCs alike, and would be both a simple and a dynamic solution. This could also be done with just about any race with distinguishable individuals, and could also accommodate for monsters and such like Goblins, Giants, Trolls, etc. Even looking at the tokens that you already have, most of the images already fit an appropriate pattern. For example, looking at the trolls, they all actually look the same as is. The differences are the 4 arms and the skin color. This could easily (I would think, at the very least) be changed to a variable determined at creation (with the most common choice being the default, and maybe a few other defaults established for ease of use. Example: have a drop down menu with "Green Troll", "Green Troll w/ 4 arms", "Blue Troll", "Blue Troll w/ 4 arms", "Custom"). Variables would be skin tone, number of arms (2 or 4, probably), hair style, hair color, weapon(s), accessories, etc (whatever you have time for and find necessary; these are just examples). Such a system should theoretically be fairly simple to implement, and would raise the customization of Game Mash's Monster Tokens a whole new level (or 2).
